Green Juice In A Blender

You don’t need a juicer to make this healthy Green Juice recipe. It’s made with apples, celery, cucumber, ginger, lime.

One of my favorite kitchen toys is a slow juicer. As much as I love the juice it makes, there are days I don’t use it because I don’t feel like cleaning it afterwards. That’s when I pull out my blender, strainer and spatula. You can make all types of great juices without a juicer. I’ve made fresh carrot, orange and an assortment of juice blends.

How To Make Green Juice

apple and vegetable on a tray
Ingredients
1 cup water
1 cucumber, peeled and diced
2 Granny Smith apples, cored and diced
2 celery stalks, roughly chopped
1/2 lime, peel removed and sectioned
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
1 pear, cored and diced (optional to make the juice a little sweeter)

Quick Tip

chopped apples
Dice the apples in small even sizes (with the skin on) to allow them to be blended easily.

Equipment Needed

fruit and vegetables in blender

A high speed blender will help make creating your favorite juice blends easier.

strainer and cheesecloth package on marble counter

You will need a colander lined with cheesecloth and spatula to press the juice out of the pulp. You can also use a nut milk bag to filter the juice. If you like the pulp, you can skip the strainer and pour the juice blend into a glass filled with ice.
