Roasted Edamame with Chinese Five Spice powder is a great appetizer that's easy to make.



  • oz  Edamame shelled fresh or frozen
  • teaspoons  olive oil
  • ½  teaspoon  Kosher salt plus extra to sprinkle
  • teaspoon  Chinese five spice powder


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Bake for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from oven and lightly sprinkle with more salt if desired. Serve immediately.
